STUDENT NURSES ASSOCIATION (SNA)

  • Functions of SNA
    The General body meeting is arranged once in a month among all students, SNA Office bearers and Principal to discuss the upcoming events.
    The SNA organizes cultural programs for various functions and events. They select talented students in the college and make them participate in collegiate cultural competitions.

    Youth Red Cross (YRC)
    The Youth Red Cross is registered under the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R Medical University. The volunteers organize and participate in various health education programmes. These camps are organized by the college as well as Government organizations.
    The Youth Red Cross unit of Padmashri Dr. Sivanthi Aditanar College of Nursing organizes and participates in Blood donation camps, Health camps etc.

    Red Ribbon Club
    The Red Ribbon club registered under the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R Medical University organizes various awareness camps in the community.

    Continuing Nursing Education (CNE)
    The management strongly encourages research among the Teaching Faculty. College organizes CNE program approved by Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council every year.

    Journal Club
    A member from the faculty is appointed as a journal club secretary who ensures that every department makes a presentation on latest trends in their specialty. Also, the faculties who attend conference/ workshops disseminate the information gained to the other faculty members.
